Cellular Respiration

Cellular respiration is the process of converting glucose into ATP molecules. Though glucose has much energy, the cell cannot utilize it at once because it will burn up if all the energy is released at one time. It is because of this reason that glucose must be converted into smaller energy molecules: ATP. There are three parts of cellular respiration: glycolysis, Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain.
